This huge airport has eight terminals and four parallel runways, covering an impressive 3,500 acres (1,400 ha). Each year, LAX sees over 87 million passengers walk through its doors, making it the fourth busiest airport in the world and the second busiest in the United States. To get from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to downtown LA, your taxi or shuttle driver will take the I-105 E from S Sepulveda Blvd until reaching the I-110 N to E 16th St. They will then take the exit 14B from I-10 E. Finally, they will turn right onto San Pedro St in downtown LA.
